DESCRIPTION:Join us for an unforgettable cultural experience as The Traditi
 onal Music Society proudly presents its annual fall concert\, "Music from 
 the Middle East!" This event will explore the rich and diverse origins of 
 Middle Eastern music and belly dance\, tracing their roots from Egypt\, No
 rth Africa\, and ancient Mesopotamia.\n\nEvent Highlights:\n\n 	Bayati: Ka
 nsas City's only Arabic music ensemble\, directed by the talented multi-in
 strumentalist Nick Amir Baker.\n 	Kimberly Guanciale: A renowned belly dan
 cer from Syracuse\, NY\, who will dazzle you with her extraordinary perfor
 mances.\n 	Gerald Trimble: Our FEATURED ARTIST\, a prominent musician know
 n for his unique fusion exploring the connections of Celtic\, jazz \, baro
 que\, middle eastern and Indian music. Gerald and his group\, Jambaroque w
 ill perform selections from Turkish\, Armenian\, Kurdish and Persian tradi
 tions.\n\nExperience the authenticity of Middle Eastern music through trad
 itional instruments and time-honored dances. Additionally\, enjoy a specia
 l presentation by the Traditional Music Society’s very own Soundz of Afr
