5PIE aims to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among American Muslims through our five foundational pillars: education, mentorship, networking, incubation, and investment.

The guest panelists will have a spirited discussion moderated by the executive director of 5PIE about their respective experiences starting and running a business. If you’re looking for inspiration to start your own business or simply a better understanding of a day in the life of an entrepreneur, you won’t want to miss this conversation. There will also be a Q&A session at the end.

PANELISTS

Haaris Ahmed is a lawyer and serial entrepreneur (social as well as commercial) that thrives on problem solving and strategic idea generation and facilitation. He is the co-founder of Patronicity and Launchgood.

Faris Alami is the Founder and CEO of International Strategic Management (ISM), where he works with international leaders and entrepreneurs on growth strategies for startups and existing businesses. He is also the Chair of Global Ties Detroit.

MODERATOR

Fathi Abdelsalam has over a decade of professional experience at the intersection of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and policy, having served as a technology-company founder, investor, patent examiner, and entrepreneurship educator.
