DESCRIPTION:\n\nApril is National Arab American Heritage Month. Celebrate t
 his month and learn more about Arab Americans by attending this fun and in
 teractive workshop led by Dima Ali.\n\nThis interactive workshop is age ap
 propriate and full of colorful and rich content. It includes an educationa
 l presentation\, artifacts\, show and tell\, a showcase of beautiful and c
 olorful dresses from Dima’s personal collection\, and storytime in Arabi
 c/ English.\n\nAttendees will leave with an understanding of Arab American
  culture and history. The program promotes the fact that although we all h
 ave many things in common\, being different adds value to the human experi

 I\nDima Ali is a Muslim Arab-American Culture and Religion Educator/ Facil
 itator and entrepreneur. Dima is the founder of Being Different\, a cultur
 al and educational program about Arab Americans in the U.S. Dima believes 
 that ignorance is the enemy of progress. She educates young minds and crea
 tes a space to learn and ask questions. Dima strives for representation to
  include and celebrate Arab and Muslim students and families in the commun
