DESCRIPTION:\nMany Voices\, One Community\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us as we commemor
 ate National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM) 2026. This is the 9th an
 nual event since the inception of NAAHM in 2017. The 2026 theme\, “Many
  Voices\, One Community\,” reflects the breadth of Arab American identi
 ties while affirming the shared values that unite the community.\n\nEach y
 ear\, we honor the invaluable contributions of Arab Americans and commemor
 ate National Arab American Heritage Month with community leaders\, cultura
 l performances\, and authentic Arab cuisine.\n\nThis year\, we will featur
 e "The Golden Era of Arab Music: An Evening of Timeless Arab Classics\," w
 hich invites guests on a refined journey through the luminous sounds of th
 e Arab World from the 1950s through the 1970s. Two of America's leading Ar
 ab vocalists\, Usama Baalbaki and Nibal Malshi\, will perform at this cu
 rated 45-minute tribute honoring the legendary artistry of Abdel Halim Ha
 fez\, Warda\, Mohammed Abdel Wahab\, Fairuz\, and Wadih El Safi—voices
  that shaped a cultural renaissance and defined a generation. Through belo
 ved melodies and orchestral elegance\, the program evokes romance\, nostal
 gia\, and shared heritage.\n\nAdditionally\, a Comedian and Folkloric Dabk
 e Troupe will be announced soon.\n\nAs Arab Americans face exclusion from 
 diverse initiatives and discriminatory discourse\, it is more important th
 an ever to affirm our identity\, celebrate our contributions\, and counter
  dehumanizing narratives.\n\nThis event is a crucial opportunity to promot
 e inclusion\, challenge misconceptions\, and amplify Arab American voices.
 \n\nAbout National Arab American Heritage Month\n\nThroughout April\, the 
 Arab America Foundation celebrates National Arab American Heritage Month (
 NAAHM)\, recognizing the achievements\, culture\, and contributions of Ara
 b Americans. Across the U.S.\, schools\, governments\, and organizations i
 ssue proclamations and host events honoring Arab heritage.\n\nIn 2017\, Ar
 ab America launched a national movement to unify recognition of NAAHM. Sin
 ce then\, state and local governments\, corporations\, and institutions ha
 ve expanded their participation\, with 250+ volunteers across 26 states or
 ganizing proclamations and events nationwide.\n\n--Doors open at 5:30 pm\,
  dinner is served 6:00-7:15 pm\, Program 7:30 pm\n\n--Notable guests\, cul
 tural presentations\, and authentic Arab cuisine.\n\n--Dress for the event
  is Black Tie Optional/Formal\n\n--This event is a fundraiser for the Arab
