 Haddad is the co-author of the acclaimed cookbook The Gaza Kitchen\, a p
 owerful celebration of Gaza’s culinary traditions and the women who keep
  them alive. Through her writing\, public speaking\, and food scholarship\
 , she brings the flavors\, stories\, and resilience of Gaza to the world 
 — making her menu for this evening especially meaningful.\n\nGaza Soup K
 itchen is a grassroots organization providing hot\, nourishing meals to f
 amilies across Gaza. Founded by Hani and Mahmoud Almadhoun\, it has grown 
 from serving 150 families a day to feeding thousands daily\, offering vege
 tarian meals such as rice\, pasta\, and traditional Gazan dishes. The orga
 nization’s mission is to combat food insecurity and support the dignity
