 eller Laila el-Haddad.\n\nLaila el-Haddad is the co-author of the acclaim
 ed cookbook The Gaza Kitchen\, a powerful celebration of Gaza’s culinar
 y traditions and the women who keep them alive. Through her writing\, publ
 ic speaking\, and food scholarship\, she brings the flavors\, stories\, an
 d resilience of Gaza to the world — making her menu for this evening esp
 ecially meaningful.\n\nGaza Soup Kitchen is a grassroots organization pro
 viding hot\, nourishing meals to families across Gaza. Founded by Hani and
  Mahmoud Almadhoun\, it has grown from serving 150 families a day to feedi
 ng thousands daily\, offering vegetarian meals such as rice\, pasta\, and 
 traditional Gazan dishes. The organization’s mission is to combat food i
 nsecurity and support the dignity and wellbeing of communities facing extr
