4 chicken legs skinned

1 medium onion chopped into quarters

Juice of ½ a lemon

15mls olive oil

¼ tsp grated nutmeg*

½ tsp cinnamon*

300mls water

Salt and pepper

Maftoul

4 small onions quartered

10mls olive oil

150g maftoul or 1 cup. (Also know as Giant couscous or pearl couscous)

300mls drained chicken stock

½ tsp cinnamon*

¼ tsp grated nutmeg*

Pinch of cumin (optional) or more according to taste

1 tin chickpeas
