Presenter:
Sally Abed is a member of the national leadership of Standing Together, the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movement in Israel. In recent years, she has become a prominent Palestinian voice in Israel, advocating for social and climate justice, and highlighting their connection to the struggle for peace and an end to the Occupation. Sally is co-host of Groundwork https://groundworkpodcast.com/–a podcast series about Palestinians and Jews refusing to accept the status quo and working together for change. Sally lives in Haifa.
As the largest grassroots Arab-Jewish movement, Standing Together will have a key role in the next 4 years in creating a new alternative by bringing together Jews and Arabs around an alternative vision for Israeli society, grounded in the principles of peace, equality, social and climate justice. Standing Together exists to build a new majority in Israeli society that can make this vision possible.
