About this event
Ali Al-Kaabi and Ahmed Abdulmajeed, who arrived in the U.S. from Iraq as refugees, share their stories through spoken word and dance respectively.
Battery Dance developed this concept for performances in New York City and Los Angeles and are excited to introduce it to Houston audiences. The program aims to create a space that fosters dialogue, understanding, mutual respect and cultural exchange.
Q&A will follow the performances.
