SUMMARY:Poetry For Palestine Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Poetry For Palestine fundraiser is a way for us to build cr
 eative spaces that aren't merely distractions from our world\, rather\, sp
 aces that are responsive to our global community and in alignment with col
 lective Liberation.\n\n***Masks are required\, and we will have masks avai
 lable if you need one. We ask that all attendees respect our mask policy t
 o ensure safety for high-risk community members. We keep us safe.***\n\nWh
 at to expect:\n\nFor this show we will have a curated line up of poets who
  will share their work with us. We'll have a total of 6 performers\, inclu
 ding the host\, with a midway intermission for a quick break.\n\nWe'll be 
 providing some local vendors\, snacks\, food and a raffle!\n\nRaffle prize
 s include\; a haircut service\, books\, artwork and much more!\n\nNote: Pl
 ease reach out to the organizer if you have any accessibility needs for th
 e event! We will do our absolute best to accommodate you\, and if we are u
 nable to accommodate you may request a refund.\n\nWho we are supporting:\n
 \nAll funds raised from tickets + raffle will support our dear friend Kara
 m - a 6th year medical student in Gaza. Karam has a family of 8 and he's a
 lso a cat parent so the funds will support him + his family + pet's daily 
 needs.\n\nIn my conversations with Karam\, he's shared his hope of seeing 
 Gaza rebuilt\, and for him to resume his medical school. This is a small e
 ffort towards keeping my friend afloat\, and dreaming of a Free world toge
