We invite you to join Chef Elias Bikahi as he recreates food from his childhood. Bikahi will infuse Armenian, Greek, and Lebanese inspired dishes with healthy, fresh and local ingredients in the traditions of his family. Caffé Sapore will be transformed into a magical space – full of life and love – for this one-time pop-up event. Neighbors and friends will come together to partake in food that exemplifies the blending of cultures, traditions and histories.
As Bikahi says, “This is the food of life. Food that I made with the little old ladies from my country – food that brought our family together. When I make this food, I pour my heart into it.”
The evening will begin with a mise en bouche featuring a variety of Mediterranean appetizers such as hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, and cheese borough (a pastry filled with cheese, feta, and mint). The main course will feature a variety of grilled meat shish kabobs and sides of rice and vegetables. The meal will end with Chef Bikahi’s famous kadayef.
- 7:00 pm: Mise en bouche and mingling with neighbors and friends
- 8:00 pm: Three course Mediterranean meal begins with paired wine
*Private Wine List will be available at the event*
