DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSAN FRANCISCO\, CA\n\nCome join the community
  art project\, Poppies for Palestine\, where we will gather to craft poppy
  flowers to bring awareness to the genocide being commited in Gaza\, tgath
 er donations and send aid to the children affected\, and to inspire hope f
 or a future of love\, compassion\, and freedom.\nThis fundraiser and works
 hop event will take place during the first three Saturdays in July\, at th
 ree different\, queer owned spaces.\nTo take part in the workshop we are a
 sking for a sliding scale donation of $15-20+\, during which we will teach
  you how to craft these flowers from wire &amp\; duct tape. You can then c
 hoose to add your flowers to the community art display\, or take them home
  with you as a memory. Come by yourself or with a group! The workshop is f
 rom 6-9pm but you are welcome to come and go as you please. Estimated time
  to craft 1 flower is approx. 20-30 minutes\, but a group working together
  can make a lot more!\n\nDrinks available.\n\nAll proceeds go to PCRF (Pal

 \nOne of the national flowers of Palestine is the poppy\, with its colors 
 of red\, green\, black &amp\; white representing the colors of the flag. I
 t symbolizes solidarity with the people of Palestine and their connection 
 to the land. A land that is being destroyed and poisoned. How contaminated
  will the soil be when this is all over? Will poppies even be able to grow
 ?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
