SUMMARY:Poppies 4 Palestine @ Sour Cherry
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nCome join the community art project\, Poppies for Palesti
 ne\, where we will gather to craft poppy flowers to bring awareness to the
  genocide being commited in Gaza\, tgather donations and send aid to the c
 hildren affected\, and to inspire hope for a future of love\, compassion\,
  and freedom.\nThis fundraiser and workshop event will take place during t
 he first three Saturdays in July\, at three different\, queer owned spaces
 .\nTo take part in the workshop we are asking for a sliding scale donation
  of $15-20+\, during which we will teach you how to craft these flowers fr
 om wire &amp\; duct tape. You can then choose to add your flowers to the c
 ommunity art display\, or take them home with you as a memory. Come by you
 rself or with a group! The workshop is from 1-4pm but you are welcome to c
 ome and go as you please. Estimated time to craft 1 flower is approx. 20-3
 0 minutes\, but a group working together can make a lot more!\n\nDrinks av
 ailable.\n\nAll proceeds go to PCRF (Palestine Children's Relief Fund)\n\n

 alestine is the poppy\, with its colors of red\, green\, black &amp\; whit
 e representing the colors of the flag. It symbolizes solidarity with the p
 eople of Palestine and their connection to the land. A land that is being 
 destroyed and poisoned. How contaminated will the soil be when this is all
  over? Will poppies even be able to grow?\n\n\n
