SUMMARY:Preserving our Identity: Art as Resistance
DESCRIPTION:WASHINGTON\, DC\n\nOn July 12 and 13\, 2024\, the Museum of the
  Palestinian People will be hosting a 2-day cultural event\, Preserving Ou
 r Identity: Art as Resistance. Our 2-day event will introduce Palestinian 
 culture to the broader DC community by showcasing Palestinian resilience a
 midst adversity through art\, music\, dance\, literature\, and food. Throu
 gh this event\, we hope to celebrate unity and foster connections while hi
 ghlighting the richness of Palestinian heritage.\n\nFeatured activities in
 clude the traditional dabka dance\, live artist demonstrations\, poetry an
 d music performances\, and engaging educational experiences. The museum's 
 ongoing mission is to raise awareness\, foster connections\, and break dow
