STORIES FOR CURIOUS EATERS
For all of the things that divide us, food and story connect us.
This summer, in partnership with General Assembly SF, we’re weaving together stories of empowerment. Each of our storytellers is empowering individuals and communities to dream, to act, and to thrive.
On August 8, we’ll gather for bites, drinks + a story with Miriam Zouzounis. In addition to helping her family run their corner store + deli and serving as a Commissioner overseeing the Office of Small Business for the city and county of San Francisco, Miriam is the West Coast Partner for Terra Sancta Trading Company – a small import company importing beer, wine, and spirits from the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean.
“…Zouzounis believes that her work with Terra Sancta is part of advancing the lives of the Bay Area’s Palestinian American community and their corner stores, too. To her, the goals of Terra Sancta and the fate of the corner stores are inextricably linked.” – Esther Mobley for the San Francisco Chronicle
Join us to hear more of Miriam’s story! We promise you’ll leave with nourished and inspired.
