The Middle East Institute and the London-based International Center for the Study of Radicalization are proud to announce Joshua Geltzer, Deputy Assistant to the President & Homeland Security Advisor, National Security Council, The White House, as the fourth keynote speaker at “Resolving the Detainee Dilemma II” on July 13. Geltzer will speak during Session VI, from 3:45 – 4:15 pm EDT on the Biden administration’s counterterrorism strategy.
“Resolving the Detainee Dilemma II: What’s Next for the Men, Women & Children of Islamic State” is the second half of a two-part conference from MEI and ICSR to discuss the ISIS detainee dilemma in Syria and to explore potential pathways towards its resolution. The conference will be a hybrid event with in-person participation at MEI in Washington, DC (RSVP required, limited capacity), as well as the ability to join via Zoom.
