SUMMARY:Ritual & Performance: Connecting with Ancestors\, Connecting with O

DESCRIPTION:NY.\n\n\n\nIn the first session\, Noelle will lead the particip
 ants in a creative ceremony. Through embodied jam sessions &amp\; meditati
 ve installations\, sonic experiences of sacred time &amp\; storytelling: w
 e unearth connection to intangible parts of ourselves and our ancestral li
 neages. This will be an embodied experience of ritual-performance gatherin
 g in community. In the second workshop\, participants will create and faci
 litate their own creative\, community-centered\, performance rituals in co
 mmunity: continuing to explore themes of ancestry.\n\nAt the end of this t
 wo part workshop\, participants will have engaged in a personal journey of
  ancestral connection &amp\; have collaborated creatively in community. Pa
 rticipants will also have a) become familiar with the foundations of ritua
 l &amp\; sacred play b) explored ways to tap into radical\, creative intui
 tion c) created original ritual-performance methods to continue to use in 
 their own practice.\n\nNOTE: The two sessions take place March 14th and Ma
 rch 21st\, 6:30-9:30pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBIO\n\nNoelle Ghoussaini is a theatre-
 maker\, ritual artist and cultural organizer. She creates performance\, ri
 tual and sacred gathering with and for community. Each embodied experience
  aims to nurture freedom on a cellular level\, in the very fabric of our b
 eing\; cultivating connection with our natural belonging to the world arou
 nd and within us.\n\nShe works at sites such as: skateparks\, refugee camp
 s\, high schools\, prisons\, community centers\, nature &amp\; healing spa
 ces\, theatres &amp\; public parks.  A Lebanese-American who grew up acro
 ss three continents\, Noelle is dedicated to collective liberation &amp\; 
 decolonial creative practice\; her visions thread together artistic and sa
 cred spaces of homecoming.\n\nRecent Projects include: shapelight &amp\; 
 SacredSpace (founding artistic director). Magic Bullet (co-creator\, in
