This is not just a film about a polio vaccination campaign\ , but one about the direct and indirect impacts of war on children’s hea lth\, and the lives of children and families living in the context of conf lict and emergencies.\n\nFollowing the screening\, director Maria Lauret a nd producer Juan Haro will speak about the process and challenges of creat ing this film\, and be available for a Q&\;A session.\n\nBios\n\nMaria Lauret is a three-time Emmy-nominated multimedia producer and post-product ion lead with over a decade of experience in visual storytelling. Prior to her role with UNICEF\, Lauret worked at Al Jazeera and has collaborated w ith global organizations such as Amnesty International and Greenpeace.\n\n Juan Haro works with UNICEF’s Global Division of Communications and Advo cacy\, where he oversees multimedia content that connects global and local audiences with urgent humanitarian and child rights issues. He previously served with UNICEF in Niger and Burundi\, MSF in Chad\, UNHCR\, and the U N in New York.
