WASHINGTON, DC

Museum of the Palestinian People (MPP) is almost ready to open its doors this Spring!

To celebrate this milestone, we invite you to our exclusive Sneak Peek Open House on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 from 4:00-7:00pm. You will be one of the first to see the renovated space as we celebrate this historic moment for the Palestinian people, culture and history! This event is a fundraising event to make our Grand Opening possible.

This event will include a special honoring ceremony starting at 5:00pm where we will recognize several individuals who have relentlessly dedicated their time and work in various fields to share stories of the Palestinian people with the world. The honored individuals include Laila El-Haddad, Mai Abdul Rahman, Bill Plitt and a representative of the late artist Sari Khoury. These leaders have served our community as goodwill ambassadors, fulfilling Palestinian aspirations to share our narrative with the world.

You are welcome to stop by at any point during this open house to see our space, enjoy finger foods, and to meet members of our board and the honored individuals who are making a special appearance for this occasion.

  • This event is sponsored by The Cake Room, Busboys & Poets, and Zayt & Zaatar.

Tickets are available at varying levels providing different opportunities to sponsor the museum and be named on displays and at this reception event. Your support makes it possible for us to close out fundraising to launch the museum!

(We accept checks or other ways of payment if you would like to avoid the fees – Please contact us at info@mpp-dc.org to do so)
