 as the world’s most severe humanitarian emergency. Since a military coup
  in 2021 and the outbreak of civil war in 2023\, violence between rival ar
 med forces has devastated the country. Civilians have borne the brunt of t
 he conflict\, with death toll estimates reaching 150\,000 and entire commu
 nities destroyed. International efforts to halt the war have faltered\, wh
 ile foreign interventions have fueled the fighting. Join us for a timely c
 onversation on Sudan’s unfolding conflict and the urgent need for intern
 ational action to prevent continued violence\, mass displacement and a dee
