 iba\, a Chaoui woman from Ghassira\, a semi-desert village in the Aurès r
 egion of eastern Algeria. Moving beyond familiar stereotypes and conventio
 nal narratives\, the film explores Habiba’s relationship with her land a
 s an expression of a deeper collective memory—one shaped by generations 
 of women whose lives and experiences have often existed outside official h
 istories.\n\nAs Habiba navigates between traditions that carry the stories
  of her ancestors and a desire to define herself beyond imposed categories
 \, Taɛzrit raises profound questions about freedom\, belonging\, identity
 \, and rootedness. Her story reveals a quiet but persistent form of resist
 ance as she reclaims her relationship with her body\, her land\, and her o
