DESCRIPTION:The United States’ 2023 Cyber Strategy outlines proposed poli
 cies and actions to address the most pressing issues facing America’s di
 gital ecosystem\, seeking to protect the US economy\, critical infrastruct
 ure\, democratic institutions\, data privacy\, and national defense. Howev
 er\, as an MEI report from this February outlined\, the strategy contains 
 certain guiding principles that could challenge the United States’ digit
 al relationship with Middle Eastern countries. US ideals regarding freedom
  of expression in digital settings\, for example\, often conflict with som
 e Middle Eastern states’ approaches to national security. This webinar w
