Since last Oc tober\, Ahmed has been risking his life on a daily basis to document the a trocities being committed against him and the people of Gaza\, and show th e world their experiences.\n\nHis primary focus in his photography is show ing the Palestinian drive and will to live. He wants to show that despite everything that Palestinians been subjected to\, they simply just want to live and love life. His work shows children playing\, parkour runners\, da y-to-day life\, and mind-blowing\, heartbreaking imagery.\n\nAhmed's photo s will be on display from January through April at Shawarmaji restaurant i n Oakland. The exhibit launch party will be Friday\, January 3\, 2025 from 7-10pm. The event is free to attend\, however we will be accepting donati ons that will all go directly to Ahmed and his family.\n\nComplimentary co ffee and tea will be provided\, and of course delicious shawarma and falaf el will be available for purchase.
