SUMMARY:The Magical Egyptian Riot
DESCRIPTION:Miners Foundry Cultural Center\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is a Magical Egy
ptian Riot? Let's just say it's an extremely good time with amazing musica
l performances. Three bands\, one solo artist and four hours of high energ
y\, emotionally connected and spiritually driven live music. A psychedelic
  night of rock\, funk\, disco\, jams\, country\, folk\, blues and more is
on the agenda for then night. There won't be a single song that disappoint
s in this amazing night of music. Experience Dirty Laundry\, Park Street R
iot\, Majik Band and Blü Egyptian in one stellar night. The Magical Egypt
ian Riot is calling.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMAJiK BAND\n\nMajik Band will bring an e
xciting song array of genres with their own unique sound they have created
through being a power trio. The power trio boasts dynamic\, melodic and f
ull funked bass playing by Eric Vandenbrink. Eric is also a multi instrume
ntalist and can find himself on the Moog or Clavinet creating synth groove
s and moods. While Eric is locked in the pocket\, with the precise and dyn
amic hard hitting drums by Ben Bodine\, this rhythm section creates the mo
numental force to the trios thick sound. Then layer a melody making guitar
riff master\, Greg Weisswasser\, into the organic beat / groove machine a
nd you have the excellent original sound of Majik Band. The band likes to
say “there is a song for everyone” due to their genre-scaped set of mu
sic. From funk to rock\, jams to ballads\, this band takes the audience on
a one of a kind experience. Majik Band released their debut album "Myceli
um" in 2021 and has been touring the Nevada Counry region and into Auburn
and Sacramento since. With new shows being booked in Auburn\, Lake Tahoe a
nd San Francisco the band is officially going places! The band will releas
e 10 new songs and their second album in the winter and spring of 2023. So
on!!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBLÜ EGYPTIAN\n\nBlü Egyptian is a young jamband from
Chico\, CA. They have gained a reputation for their high energy shows with
extended multi-genre jams\, meaningful songwriting\, and entertaining sta
ge antics. Since the release of their first album in 2021\, they have been
touring Northern California\, including many venues in Nevada County and
at Worldfest in 2022. With their latest live release "Goin' Places Fall To
ur\," they have a big year of touring ahead including Hog Farm Hideaway fe
stival.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPARK STREET RIOT\n\nFormed in the quiet no
rthern California foothills in 2016\, Nevada City’s\, Park Street Riot\,
has continually pushed their own sonic edge\, establishing themselves as
one of the most dynamic\, powerful\, and energetic new bands to emerge fro
 m the greater-Sacramento area.\n\nTheir debut self-titled record released
in March 2019 and recorded by Tim Green at Louder Studios (Bikini Kill\, M
elvins\, Joanna Newson)\, is a testament to the songwriting prowess of fro
ntwoman Marielle Walker\, as well as the groups varied individual influenc
es and musicianship.\n\nWith a cohesive and catchy blend of garage rock\,
 psychedelia\, and early 2000’s alternative\, Park Street Riot’s live s
how is incomparably heavy and compelling\, laced through with the melancho
lic and emotional raw power of Walker’s natural rock tenor\, as well as
the melodic and thunderous rhythmic foundations of Ryan Donnelly\, Alex Sc
ribner\, and Ryan Sheridan.\n\nLyrically\, Walker confronts themes of loss
\, existential dread\, and small town hedonism with an emotional rawness a
nd wry wit that naturally expresses the many dualities present in our misu
nderstood human nature. In the current sea of cheap rock monotony\, Park S
treet Riot’s music shines as a strange and exceptional jewel\, bringing
forth a realness and honesty representative of their own personal friendsh
ip and backwoods\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDIRTY LAUNDRY\n\nExperience this one man ens
emble playing musical sounds of old in a down home cooked flavor of blues\
, folk and grit. Strapped with a banjo or guitar while humming on the harm
onica this Dirty Laundry gets stinking good. From Auburn California and to
uring all around the foothills make sure you get your clothes and dancing
shoes ready for some Dirty Laundry.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
