DESCRIPTION:As one of the most highly-anticipated cultural events of the ye
 ar\, the Seattle Eid Festival is an opportunity for the community to come 
 together and celebrate the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr\, which marks th
 e end of the holy month of Ramadan. The festival includes a variety of act
 ivities such as a comedy show featuring Muslim comedians\, carnival games\
 , food and small business vendors\, opportunities for community members to
  gather and socialize\, and much more. The goal is to provide a fun\, fest
 ive atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy\, and to promote understand
 ing and appreciation of the Islamic religion.\n\nAdditionally\, the festiv
 al also has a charitable aspect\, as all proceeds from the event go toward
 s supporting the local non-profit organization Amanah. Amanah's mission is
  to empower the youth in Seattle through a variety of programs\, such as s
 ummer camps\, basketball tournaments\, and other activities that promote p
 ersonal development\, and community engagement. By supporting Amanah\, the
  festival not only provides a fun and festive event for the community but 
 also helps to invest in the future of the youth in Seattle.
