About this Event
This is the second Traditional Arts & Creativity event, in a special monthly series of three classes geared towards teenagers and adults.
In this special series, students will learn about various art forms and how they are manufactured historically and in the present day.
The Traditional Art of Manufacturing Prayer Beads will focus on how wooden misbahas (sibhas) are manufactured in Turkey, using traditional methods. We also learn about how mindfulness of Allah عز و جل can lead to beautiful forms of artwork, that again remind humanity of Allah the Exalted and His Bounty and Generosity.
Featuring special guest speaker Br. Ibrahim Batchelder, founder of Uns Fine Crafts, who will talk about his life and experience in this field.
This event will take place online only and will be accessible via our Facebook page and seekersguidance.org/live
Saturday August 8 at 1:30-2:30pm.
