 f ancient Egypt in this immersive class for middle and upper grades!\n\n\n
 \n\n\n\nProgram Schedule: March 20- May 6\n\nThis class will meet weekly o
 n Fridays from 3-4 p.m.\n\nRecommended Ages: 5th grade+ (middle &amp\; hig
 h school)\n\nCost: $100\n\nStep into a world of ancient stories\, powerful
  symbols\, and timeless lessons! Middle and\n\nhigh school students will t
 ravel to Ancient Egypt to explore pharaohs\, pyramids\, gods\n\nand goddes
 ses.\n\nThrough hands-on activities\, creative storytelling\, and group di
 scussions\, learners will\n\nexplore everything from daily life in ancient
  Egypt (including an Egyptian feast!) to\n\nmyths and the lessons hidden w
 ithin them. Blending literature-based studies and unit\n\nstudies\, studen
 ts will explore ancient Egypt from a variety of angles.\n\nBy the end of t
 he course\, students will recognize major figures from Egyptian\n\nmytholo
 gy\, understand key vocabulary relating to pyramids and pharaohs\, and be 
 able\n\nto describe how ancient Egyptian pyramids were constructed and uti
 lized.\n\nThis class will use as a foundation the book Pyramid by David Ma
 caulay and students\n\nwill read selections during classtime. While homewo
 rk in the traditional sense will not be\n\n\n\n
