Join this one-hour virtual tour of the Museum of the Palestinian People to learn about the latest exhibit of Palestinian textiles from our Collections Specialist, Wafa Ghnaim!
The exhibit and tour will highlight dress styles that emerged in the Palestinian diaspora, and share the history of Palestinian dress since 1948. The event will begin with a historical overview, and show photographs of the exhibition in the museum. Wafa is a talented researcher, educator, and artist, and this tour offers a special opportunity to gain insight on objects in the museum collection, their historical context, and how they may have ended up in the United States.
Tickets are by donation, and after reserving your spot you will receive a Zoom link to join the tour on February 25 at 12 p.m. Resilience Monthly Club members can use the code 1948 to reserve this tour for free.
