In the Fall of 2021, inshah’Allah, we will travel to Palestine and You are invited! (I keep moving the dates due to the uncertainty of global travel — so stay tuned, we’ll find a window that works as soon as travel resumes again)
Visitors will enjoy 4 days of exploring and connecting with Boulder’s sister city Nablus, Palestine. We’ll wander through the Old City, visit with hospitals and the university, enjoy some of the best cooking in the West Bank, and meet people who work to make Nablus the amazing place that it is!
On the 5th day, we will work alongside farmers in villages adjacent to Nablus planting olive tree saplings.
Next the group will take in spectacular nature and hospitality while spending 4 days hiking upon Masar Ibrahim. The longest day is 12 miles while the shortest will be 6 miles. (an alternate program is available for those who prefer).
We’ll visit historic villages, such as Aqraba, Duma, Kufr Malek, Taybeh and Battir, stay in local homes, and eat local cuisine.
We will also enjoy getting to see the historic Bethlehem and Jerusalem, including sites such as Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock, the Church of Nativity, and the Walled Off Hotel, to name just a few.
Dates: October 27 – November 7, 2021
*Based on Double Occupancy (a single room supplement of $300 is additional)
