 n in Somalia and raised by her grandmother in Yemen\, where they experienc
 ed a simple but beautiful life before unrest came to the country. Follow Z

 \nABOUT THE CONVERSATION PARTNER\n\nDana Mortenson is the Co-founder and C
 hief Executive Officer of World Savvy\, a national education nonprofit wor
 king to educate and engage youth as responsible global citizens. World Sav
 vy supports change agents in K-12 education to create more inclusive\, ada
 ptive schools that ensure all young people can develop the skills and disp
 ositions needed to thrive in a more diverse\, interconnected world. World
