 ine Zoom webinar Alice will give a brief background on Gaza and then a det
 ailed description of the current destruction of much of the infrastructure
  and health care system and the impact on civilians in the ongoing war.\n\
 nDr. Alice Rothchild\, author\, filmmaker\, and physician\, is focused on 
 human rights and social justice. She writes and lectures widely\, authored
  several books on health and human rights in Israel/Palestine\, including
  Broken Promises\, Broken Dreams: Stories of Jewish and Palestinian Traum
 a and Resilience and Condition Critical: Life and Death in Israel/Palest
 ine\, contributed to a number of anthologies\, the most recent being Rec
 laiming Judaism from Zionism: Stories of Personal Transformation and Wha
 t Jerusalem Means to Us: Jewish Reflections and Perspectives. Finding Mel
 ody Sullivan is her young adult novel exploring grief and friendship in t
 he setting of broader political questions raised by realities in Israel/Pa
 lestine\, available in print and as an audio book. Old Enough to Know\, 
 her middle grade novel\, is about a nine-year-old Palestinian American boy
