About this Event
Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and relax, and discover the stories behind the stories–while I sometimes dish a little historical dirt! Inspired by Napoleon’s foray into Egypt, Victorian interest in historical revivals, and Art Deco’s nod to King Tut, Egyptian Revival architecture and design uses the symbolism and stylistic elements of ancient Egypt throughout buildings, interiors, furniture, decorative arts, and fine arts.
The fee is $6 for a 1 to 1-1/4 hour lecture per device. (In other words, if two or more people are watching on one device, you only need to pay for one person.)
I will email you via Eventbrite with the Zoom link three hours in advance of the lecture. If you do not receive the Zoom link (after checking your spam box, too), email me at EleanorSchrader@roadrunner.com.
Ticket sales end 1/2 hour before the lecture. Please order your tickets early!
I will open the room half an hour before the lecture. Please join me by quarter of the hour so that I have time to address any connection issues.
I look forward to having you join me!
