Peace Project and IWPG are proud to present: Women, Peace and Conflict Showcase

When you hear the word “war”, what comes to mind? Afghanistan, Syria, Myanmar, Somalia? What about the UK?

What about when you hear the word “peace”?

Peace Project and IWPG are proud to open our first-ever showcase for women to challenging these perceptions of what war – and, more importantly peace – really mean.

Join us for an amazing lineup of art, video, and writing that explore UK women’s experiences of conflict and hope for peace through the female lens, covering experiences such as displacement, war, domestic violence, mental health, homelessness, trafficking, and more.

This session will include:

• Fine art
• Photography & videography
• Poetry/spoken word
• Graphic design
• Illustration
• Mini-documentaries
• And more!

Attending the event

Due to current COVID restrictions, the majority of the event will be held online. The event is free, but please book your space in advance so that you don’t miss out.
