Children ages 5-13 years old (or 13-18 with special needs) are invited to attend Lakeshore Academy on Wednesdays to go on a virtual adventure to interesting places around the world. Today, students will virtually exploring Egypt.
Children who attend UEC will be able to ride the bus to Lakeshore after school where they will eat a nutritious snack before exploring Egypt. After the World of Wonders activity is completed, students will be able to receive help with any homework and play at our indoor activity centers or outdoors if the weather permits.
Afternoon Snack – Tortilla Chips, Salsa, Carrots, and Milk
All children must be picked up by 6:00pm.
Before attending their first event, all children must have the following documents completed and on file with the Director at Lakeshore Academy:
- application for child care,
- emergency information,
- medication authorization form (if applicable),
- Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application,
- Pest Management acknowledgement form,
- Note to UEC to ride bus to Lakeshore (if applicable)
- photo release form, and
- acknowledgement of parent handbook.

Completed forms can be dropped off at Lakeshore Academy (110 Hootie Holler Ln., Mt. Storm, WV 26739) or emailed to lakeshoreacademy110@gmail.com.
Once these documents are on file, your child will be able to attend all future events , as space allows.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure to choose the correct date when checking out. There are multiple dates listed for this event.
**When purchasing tickets through Eventbrite, you will be charged an additional fee. If you want to avoid paying the fee, you can make arrangements to make your payment directly to Lakeshore Academy, no later than 3 days prior to each event. You can choose to pay for one or multiple events at a time. Parents can also enroll children to attend Lakeshore Academy full-time Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 6:00pm by contacting Lakeshore Academy. Payment for this event, whether directly to Lakeshore or through Eventbrite will not be refunded, unless the event is cancelled due to low enrollment, inclement weather, etc. Feel free to call or text Lakeshore Academy at 304-851-8558 with any questions.
