The Yemen War: Is There Light at End of Tunnel?

The future of the Yemen War and the country in of itself will be discussed Saturday, Sept. 13 at the National Press Club. The Gulf International Forum is hosting the event, and Professor David Des Roches will be the moderator.

Many people believe that Yemen is the birthplace the Arab race. Even though it has existed for centuries, the country the country still is unable to obtain prosperity due to civil wars and fights for power.
The speakers, including Ambassador Barbara Bodine and Dr. David Ottoway, will discuss the question of the possibility of Yemen’s future. There are many uncertainties, such as the role of the U.S. and potential negotiations in Geneva. The title of the event is “The War in Yemen: Is There Light at End of the Tunnel?”
