Arab America Presents “Ya Hal Arab! A Call for Unity” with Mohammed Assaf in Washington, DC
Arab America will present Ya Hal Arab! A Call for Unity, with Arab Idol and Palestinian Superstar Mohammed Assaf. The event will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2014, 5:00pm at the Waterford-Springfield Banquet Facility, 6715 Commerce Street, Springfield, Virginia. Assaf will be accompanied by the renowned Lebanese vocalist and Arab Idol finalist, Ziad Khoury. Assaf will also debut his new highly anticipated and soon to be released CD.
“As an organization dedicated to bringing our diverse Arab American community together, Arab America is proud to host Mohamed Assaf,” said Warren David, President of Arab America . “We are proud to come together and celebrate our heritage through Assaf’s message of unity.”
This is Assaf’s second appearance in the Washington D.C. area. His recent victory as the Arab Idol received worldwide coverage from the media and was welcomed with joy by Palestinians and Arabs from around the world.
