Today, TBS network talk show host Conan O’Brien tweeted from Bethlehem, Palestine enjoying hookah and coffee..
O’Brien surprised viewers when he announced on August 16 that he was traveling to Palestine/Israel. This week he is filming for his TBS show, “Conan without Borders.”
In his announcement on August 16th he said, “Ladies and gentlemen, due to all the division and strife and intractable hatred in this country right now, I’ve decided to leave America for the relative peace, sanity, and quiet of the Middle East, that’s right, ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to Israel.”
He went on to say that he would be in the region the same time Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner would be, concluding that he and Kushner had the same amount of diplomatic experience–saying he might actually be more qualified.
