Don’t miss the nation’s largest Arab international festival this June! More than a half mile Warren Ave. will turn into the 13th Annual Arab International Festival. It’s a free, family-centered cultural celebration that will attract over 300,000 people from Michigan, the Midwest, and Canada. The celebration of cultures will feature ethnic performances representing the diverse heritage of the people of Metro Detroit.

This year, the Arab International Festival will hold the Second Annual fashion show at the main stage, featuring the work of a local designer, Miss Samaher Mohammad. Samaher of Zaynini Fashion International has created a 12 piece collection! This includes evening garments, trendy, conservative, Islamic ensembles, and contemporary traditional thobes, and accessories. Zaynini Fashion will have a grand opening July 2008.

The children’s tent is bigger than ever this year with new activities for the kids. The children’s tent is sponsored by IKEA.

Vendor booths and tables are completely sold out! The festival will offer a diverse selection of international cuisine within our food booth area and a variety of Arab merchandise in the Artisan tent.
