Amal Clooney’s sister Tala Alamuddin is fighting back against claims that she’s profiting from the coronavirus fears with her luxury face masks.

George Clooney’s sister-in-law, who is selling $33 face covers called Le Masque, tells Page Six, “When I heard there were no masks and no toilet paper, I thought, ‘I can’t make toilet paper, but I can make masks.’ I was just trying to do what I could.”

While the masks (which come in leopard-print and camouflage) are not medically certified against viruses, she insists that they fit snug. Alamuddin, who lives in Singapore, says, “It protects as much as possible, but [they] are not medically certified … This is better than nothing. Why not add joy and something that looks good in the midst of misery? It’s a little injection of a good feeling. That’s all.”

She says the profits from the sales go to the Singapore Red Cross and the rest goes to the manufacturers. “I don’t want to make anything from this,” says Alamuddin. “I want to help.”
