Arab America Foundation Announces Maher Abdelqader, 2025 MVP Awardee

(Washington, D.C., October 17, 2025) The Arab America Foundation is excited to announce that Maher Abdelqader will receive the MVP-Most Valuable Person Award for 2025 at the CONNECT Arab America: Empowerment Summit on Saturday evening, October 25, 2025, Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, 100 Frank W. Burr Boulevard, Teaneck, NJ

Maher has been a steadfast activist with the Arab America Foundation and a tireless advocate for our mission—to celebrate Arab heritage, strengthen identity, and educate Americans about our community’s contributions. For years, he has been present with conviction and compassion, building partnerships and helping us run impactful events across New York/New Jersey and beyond. His leadership makes us better and bolder, and we are proud to honor him with the 2025 MVP Award,” said Warren David, Co-Founder, Arab America Foundation.

Maher Abdelqader, CCM, M.ASCE, is the Executive Vice President of a major infrastructure Engineering firm in the Tri-State area, with over 30 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, construction management, and multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects.

A Certified Construction Manager and alumnus of NYU and the University of New Haven, he has also served as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University.

In addition to the Arab America Foundation, Abdelqader is a prominent Palestinian American leader, co-founding and presiding over numerous organizations, including the Palestinian American Congress and the Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects. He has advised delegations to the UN, met with world leaders, and received national and international recognition for advocacy.
