Arab America Ranks in the Top 100,000 of 200 Million Active Websites Worldwide

WASHINGTON DC (October 14, 2020)–According to Alexa Internet, an Amazon company, and leading website ranker, the Arab America digital website, www.arabamerica.com ranks as one of the top 100,000 websites in the world.
There are an estimated 1.7 billion websites worldwide, although roughly 200 million remain active. Today Arab America ranks 98,856 out of 200 million active websites in the world and ranks 26,103 out of millions of websites in the U.S.
Warren David, president of Arab America stated today, “For what started in 2006 as a regional website serving the Michigan Arab American community and to see our exponential growth in becoming the largest provider of digital media regarding the Arab American identity in the world, is just stunning.”
Alexa Internet, Inc. is a web traffic analysis company and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amazon. Alexa provides web traffic data, global rankings, and other information on over 30 million websites and is visited by over 420 million people every month.
Arab America is a national media organization founded with the purpose of promoting an accurate image of the Arab American community and the Arab world. With close to four million Arab Americans in the U.S., Arab America’s primary goal is to act as a “bridge” bringing together the diverse Arab American communities. Additionally, Arab America is an educational resource site for all Americans.
Currently, there are close to 19,000 submissions of content on the Arab America platform with the blog hosting over 2,000 submissions. The online platform receives over 1.2 million monthly page-views, over 100,000 email subscribers receive Arab America E-News each week, and there are over 650,000 social media followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Finally, Arab America supports the mission and activities of the Arab America Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit educational and cultural organization that promotes the Arab heritage, educates Americans about the Arab identity, and connects and empowers Arab Americans.
