Coalition of Palestinian American Organizations
Established as a unifying umbrella organization to advance the agenda of Palestinian Americans, the Coalition of Palestinian American Organizations (CPAO) aims at addressing issues that concern the Palestinian American community as well as initiatives and projects that members organizations would like to work on.
The coalition aims at facilitating presentations, lectures and op-eds supporting the rights of the Palestine people including lectures by prominent personalities at American institutions, universities, houses of worship as well as on television, radio and the Internet.
In addition to supporting the Boycott / Divestment and Sanctions of companies and institutions operating illegally in settlements within the Occupied Palestinian Territories, CPAO aims at lobbying elected officials to support a more balanced US peace making effort that would lead to a fair and just peace between Palestine and Israel,
The Coalition also aims at organizing cultural exchange programs between the United States and Palestine as well as encouraging and facilitating economic cooperation between the two countries.
