The ‘El Llegado Arabe Andalusi’ exhibition brings together 45 works by 15 painters and four photographers, all of them members of the APALI Almeria Indalo artists’ association.

The non-profit association is was founded in 1999 with the aim of promoting art in the province.

“Almeria has always been a land of great artists, which prompted the idea of bringing so many new artists out of anonymity and trying to make them known”, the association states.

Over the last two decades APALI has organised all kinds of cultural activities, among them individual and joint exhibitions, painting and photography competitions and painting days at Almeria city’s historic Alcazaba fortification.

The exhibition at the Teatro Auditorio in Avenida Reino de España in Roquetas town continues until December 31.
