Dearborn Recognizes AANM For Excellence And Dedication To Supporting The Arts
The Arab American National Museum (AANM) is proud to announce its selection as recipient of the Dearborn City Beautiful Commission’s Business Citation Award for 2015, signifying the commitment of making the Museum an outstanding asset to Dearborn and its business community.
In honor of the achievement, an awards ceremony will be held at the Dearborn Administrative Center at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, where recipients will have their photos taken as the citations are presented in recognition of the major exterior beautification efforts.
In February, the Dearborn Community Arts Council recognized AANM at the 28th annual Mayor’s Art Award ceremony, and the Museum received the 2015 Mayor’s Arts Organization Award for its outstanding contributions to the advancement and support of the arts in the greater Dearborn community.
Each year, based on nominations submitted by the public, The Dearborn Community Arts Council and Dearborn’s Mayor recognize accomplishments by individuals and groups for outstanding achievements in the arts from the past year.
