Egyptian actress Basma guest stars in the American TV series Tyrant
Egyptian actress Basma made headlines after guest starring in the fourth episode of the third season of American TV series “Tyrant” last week.
Basma played the role of “Sophia” on the controversial political show, which revolves around a Middle Eastern pediatrician named Barry, whose father is an Arab dictator. The storyline evolves when Barry and his family have to return to their homeland for his nephew’s wedding (for the first time in 20 years) and things don’t go as planned.
Basma looked like a real Hollywood starlet in the images that surfaced on the Internet soon after the episode aired on July 27.
Back in May, Egyptian actor Khaled Abol Naga, who has joined Tyrant’s cast in season 3 as “Sheikh Hussein Al-Qadi,” tweeted a behind-the-scenes photo with Basma as they got their hair and makeup ready for filming.
