We are back for another dinner fundraiser for Palestine! A 5 course family style dinner with familiar arabic flavors with a little Sumud Foods twist

We are raising money to feed families in the West Bank who have been left without work due to the restricted travel and increasing violence of the occupation regime. Our goal is to feed 50 families, each food package is $250. We are working with Building Better World (buildingbetterworld.org) to distribute the food packages on the ground. They buy groceries from local Palestinian markets, supporting those small businesses and then distibute the packages to those most in need. Like one family, who have a 8 year old girl with brain cancer, who can barely travel to Jerusalem for treament due to her father’s unemployment and multiplying checkpoints and dangerous travel conditions.

We will also have a silent auction of game worn Palestine Baseball jerseys, replicia jerseys, shirts, bats and a customized Palestine baseball glove as well as other items. All silent aution purchases will support two Palestine Baseball players cover their travel costs to Japan this Sepetmeber to represent Palestine in the Asian Games, the Olypmics of Asia.
