The annual Blossom Kite Festival is open to all kite flyers. Please join us if you would like to fly a kite in solidarity with Palestine. Anyone is welcome to gather in public space to honor the children in Gaza and celebrate Palestinian resilience and hope.

We are a small group of local moms hoping to gather with others in solidarity.

This event is open to all!
In addition to kite flying, we will have some additional activities for children of all ages.

Please know the RAIN DATE for Blossom Kite Festival is March 31, 2024.

Significance of Kite Flying for Palestine:
Kite flying in Palestine is seen as a symbol of hope and a longing for freedom. The most kites flown simultaneously is 12,350 and was achieved by children of the Gaza Strip at an event organized by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency at Al-Waha beach, Gaza Strip, on 28 July 2011.
