Busboys and Poets Presents: Short Films From Gaza

Join us for an intimate screening and conversation with rising Palestinian filmmaker Mohammed Fares Al Majdalawi, whose documentaries illuminate the Palestinian experience across borders and generations. Experience four compelling short films exploring themes of displacement, family bonds, and cultural preservation. See completed festival favorites “Forget Me Not” and “One Day I Will Hug You,” plus exclusive footage from works-in-progress “Out of Place,” (following dabke dancers in exile) and “All Have Pain (testimonies from recently evacuated Gazans).

Al Majdalawi, whose work has aired on Al Jazeera Documentary and screened internationally, will discuss his artistic journey and the urgent stories driving his filmmaking. Don’t miss this rare cinematic experience.
