We’re thrilled to begin work on a new documentary & social media campaign that explains the Muslim understanding of Mary and Jesus (A). We seek your support to explain the love Muslims have for these sacred figures, the commonality with Prophet Muhammad (S), theological similarities and differences, and peaceful coexistence for both Muslims and Christians. The figures of Mary and Prophet Jesus won’t be depicted. WE’D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR IDEAS for engagement with this film.

Learn about and watch footage from an immersive escape room-style format where players solve mysteries using real medieval Muslim inventions. Navigate through cryptic puzzles with tools like AIJazari’s water clocks, lbn Firnas’s glider designs, and early surgical instruments. Each level reveals secrets of lost knowledge, blending history, science, and adventure in a race against time.

– Representations of Muslims in popular entertainment promote misunderstanding and prejudice.

– Muslims depicted as violent villains have caused significant damage.

But what about movies and TV Programs that show the other side? Where are the films showing Muslims as contributing to society and the films showing the compassionate values of Islam? What about films that show Muslims as coming from a great religious and civilizational tradition?

Presenting an authentic Muslim narrative is what is needed. This is what the work of UPF is about.

UPF has received funding from several prestigious philanthropic foundations, including the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Doris Duke Foundation, the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, and many others.
