Henry Ford Estate Fairlane Seeks Arab American Focus Group Participants

posted on: Aug 20, 2008

The Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane has established itself as a National Historic Landmark, sharing the story of the Fords’ lives and impact, not only on Southeastern Michigan, but throughout the nation and the world.

Through the years, the efforts of Henry Ford helped to establish middle class America and helped to provide jobs to those individuals and families migrating to the Detroit area. Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane is proud of this rich legacy and is currently seeking individuals to participate in a focus group that will explore and discuss past, present and future connections between Ford Motor Company, the Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane and the Arab-American community.

We are seeking to learn more about ways in which we can provide educational opportunities, promote and celebrate this rich and diverse history.

If you are interested in learning more about the project or in participating in upcoming focus group opportunities, please contact Pamela Rhoades Todd via email at pamrhoadestodd@aol.com.

We are looking to conduct focus group meetings during the months of September and early October and will provide a tour of the Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane and light refreshments to those participating in the focus groups.

We look forward to engaging the Arab-American community in meaningful, historical and educational dialogue and look forward to learning more about ways in which we can further explore these connections.
